Arts Administrator

Over the last fifteen years, Rob has served as an arts administrator for schools and organizations with the charge of program stewardship.  He sets a creative vision and designs strategic operations to meet organizational goals.  Working with board members, artistic and executive directors, heads of schools, leadership teams, teachers, and students, he strives to unearth the unique gems of an organization to make the program shine. Leadership means providing a direction and foundation for teaching artists and students to focus on what they do best—creating. Therefore, Rob aims to enhance the visibility, quality, and impact of their artistic endeavors and achievements.

Responsibilities include:

  • program initiation and development

  • streamlining operations

  • managing budgets

  • personnel hiring, training and evaluation

  • education curricular design and faculty support

  • implementing marketing plans and promotions

  • event coordination

  • partnering with community organizations, parents, and families

  • interdepartmental collaborations

  • planning artist-in-residence and guest speaker events
