Rob Lewis is a theatre director, arts administrator, educator and actor with over twenty years of experience helping others thrive onstage. He holds a BFA from New York University in Drama where he studied musical theatre and an MA in Directing from Roosevelt University where he discovered a passion for theatre for social change/justice. Rob has directed and produced dozens of shows including plays, musicals, storytelling events, fundraisers, concerts and with every new venture, he seeks ways to make it unique and memorable.
Rob enjoys creating constructive and collaborative environments rooted in fearless creativity, vulnerability, and a common understanding through a clear vision and grounded purpose. As a theatre educator, performance coach, and staff instructional coach, he has worked privately and in schools and community organizations addressing impact targets, designing growth plans, and collaborating with various cohorts to put many hands into making successful outcomes. He has served as an administrator and program director leading through program public representation, audience engagement, event planning, and more.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, he lives with his husband in San Francisco.
